Ah! Departure to the Philippines is now hours away, and I am awake with excitement.
Final major project milestone completed on Sun, all my team calls on Mon and Tues went well and I am thrilled with everyone's tremendous support to wrap up and/or transition any remaining deliverables on my 3 acquisitions - thank you indeed!
The family has been absolutely outstanding! Took today off to catch up on hugs. Got to visit with mom, played and picnic-ed with the family in the gorgeous sunshine, and celebrated an early Mother's Day with Elena. I even got to attend the Spring school conference and am swelling with parental pride =o)
Packing has been a challenge, I'll admit, to my surprise. I am glad I have a few hours in the morning to give it a once-over and assess what really needs to come along.
On the positive side, I couldn't be more delighted with the project prep David and I have done to-date, we have an excellent base to start from, and I've saved a whole set of docs to review on the long flight over.
Off to catch a few hours of sleep before the travel portion of this fascinating journey begins!
