Meeting the Team + Manila impressions (part I)

Fresh Mango juice for breakfast the the Greenbelt Mall
What a day!

We started off with fresh mango juice and coffee
at the Greenbelt Mall near the hotel.

Left to Right: Janet (Canada), Alexis (France), Phil (US), Daniel (Switzerland), Nora (Hungary), Falk (Germany) and me.

The mango was absolutely divine and I see many more of these "slush"-es in our future.

Fort Santiago
After growing in numbers to 9 - joined by David (Spain / Hungary) and Tatiana (Brazil), we ventured to Intramuros, Old Town and visited Fort Santiago, the San Agustin Church, and a Fresh Seafood market.
San Agustin Church, all dressed up for a wedding

Lunch was a superb team building experience and a tasty adventure - once we ordered, someone

Grilled Squid
Crab in Garlic and Chili Sauce
walked over to the market just around the corner and picked up the fresh fish and seafood to cook to our order, the feast was well worth the <$20/person splurge.

Mabuhay!!!

...and most importantly I have a very strong feeling we are going to be one truly fantastic team!

(to be continued)

  1. Yummy. Makes Dad, Paradee and me miss Thailand. But Paradee DID cook Thai food for us tonight!
