It's hard to believe how much has happened already along this fantastic journey:
- I feel like I already know the "Philippines 10" CSC team, what an excellent group - eager to meet them all in person!
- The leadership and cultural awareness training materials are informative and thought-provoking
- It's been great meeting w/ CSC alumni and learning about their experiences. Our facilitator is great, too!
- I've gotten most of my shots and so has my family (as we get ready for the vacation we would like to take after my assignment)
- I am working on vacation itinerary, airfare, visa, and such... w/ a keen eye on the calendar... even considered building a Gantt chart in classic project management manner to track all the prep (might still look into it... use the tools if I got them, right... plus would be a good reason to refresh my MSProject skills, which might come in handy in Cebu)
Grateful for the wonderful people in my life who make the craziness of balancing work, life, and all else not only manageable, but largely enjoyable.
Back to real life now and will check back in closer to the actual trip =o)
