Assignment to the Philippines

Dear family and friends,
I am delighted to share that I have been accepted in a wonderful IBM program - Corporate Service Crops, which is thought of as very much a Business version of the Peace Corps - and will be headed to Cebu in the Philippines in early May 2011.  I will start prepping for the assignment - with a team of 12 IBMers from 9 countries - in the next couple weeks, get lined up with a local client in the Philippines a few weeks before departure, and spend 4 full weeks in Cebu working on solving - likely an economic growth related - business problem...

I am super excited and as you can see, counting the days - ~ 100 today, depending on exact departure date - and am thrilled to have the full support of my excellent family and management to let me go for a month...  thank you!!!
